This imagecommentOne Blue Marble, held in front of a photograph by David Liittschwager depicting the organisms found in one cubic foot of sea water. The photograph by David Liittschwager was on display at Fort Point for For-Site's "International Orange," an art exhibit celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. David Liittschwager photographed organisms found in seawater collected directly below the bridge, continuing his One Cubic Foot series, which observes the density and diversity of life that exists within a 12-inch cube of soil, air, or sea.
