Coriander seeds
Title
Coriander seeds
Alt-Text
Description
Seeds from the cilantro plant I have always called the plant "cilantro" and the seeds "coriander," but after looking it up, coriander is used to refer to both the plant and the seed. "Cilantro" is the Spanish word for "coriander" and is the term typically used in North America because of the herb's common use in Mexican cooking. Both the plant leaves and seeds are edible. The seeds are used to make spices.
