Alt-Text
Comedian/actress Margaret Cho receives one blue marble on the corner of Haight and Ashbury.
Description
Margaret Cho says, "Let's heal the world together." She was on the corner of Haight & Ashbury for the launch of an extended busking project around the city, designed to raise awareness and help the homeless by collecting donations of food, clothes, blankets and money. Using the hastag #berobin in honor of her friend, Cho said, "Robin Williams was such a philanthropist, and this is how I'm honoring his memory. Don't grieve Robin, be Robin." She was happy to spread the news about Rooftop School's Burnett Student Council's Winter Apparel Drive, which invited people to send in new socks, mittens, hats and scarves to benefit the kids of the Hamilton Family Center. https://hoodline.com/2014/11/margaret-cho-kicks-off-homeless-outreach-tour-in-the-haight
