One blue marble for Amy Logan, President of the US National Committee for UN Women San Francisco Bay Area and World Learning, after she delivered her Keynote Speech at the 2016 CEDAW Women?s Human Rights Award Ceremony.
Amy is a multi-award-winning documentary filmmaker and a critically acclaimed novelist (The Seven Perfumes of Sacrifice, on the origins of honor killing in the Arab world). Amy is Founder & CEO of Inclusion Innovation, which trains teams to cultivate inclusive climates for innovation through engaging workshops using design sprints and virtual reality. She wrote and produced ?Belonging?, a virtual reality film she premiered at the UN that gives the viewer the experience of unconscious gender bias at work. Amy served as a delegate to the UN Commission on the Status of Women and President of the Board of the US National Committee for UN Women San Francisco Bay Area 2015-2019 where she founded the Global Voices Film Festival.
