Description
Speedy Delivery! One blue marble passed in gratitude to actor David Newell, known for his portrayal of the beloved mailman, Mr. McFeeley on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood at the Children's Media Association Bay Area's screening of "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on January 31, 2019.

The moment marked a kind of reunion. In Episode 1750 of Mister. Rogers Neighborhood, "When Things Get Broken," aired on March 27, 1999, Mr. McFeely stops by Mr. Rogers house to deliver a film about marbles made at the Marble King factory in Paden City, West Virginia.  Marble King made this blue marble passed to Mr. McFeely twenty years later!

The same film was also used in Episode 1524 in a series about "Conflict," screened on November 10, 1983, where Mister Rogers plays with a handful of marbles, after building a bridge with colorful wooden blocks on his kitchen table. Mr. Rogers shared the film and describes how people use and make marbles.
