Lowe Wing Sun, now deceased, entered the U.S. in 1938  as a young man of 21. At Angel Island, he came under the assumed name of Jue Wing Sun. He claimed to be the "alleged" son of a native. At a later time in the U.S., he legally reclaimed his true identity.
